Begin your journey with a simple warm-up project: a personalized wooden bookmark, where you’ll learn the basics of pyrography by burning your name into the wood. Once you're confident with the tools and techniques, choose your main piece to customize – a chopping board, bread board, egg board, or free-standing plaque – and bring it to life with your own design, message, or illustration. No prior experience needed – our friendly instructors will guide you through every step, from tool handling and safety to design ideas and woodburning techniques. All materials are included, and you’ll head home with two handmade keepsakes: a tester bookmark and a beautiful, functional piece of wood art created by you. From beginner to burner – come craft something truly unique, one scorch at a time!
