Welcome to Rose Cottage Community Hub CIC! We bring people together through arts, crafts and wellbeing activities, helping to reduce social isolation and build friendships in a warm, welcoming space.
Our Founder and Director, Michelle Douglas-Allison, leads the hub, supported by Amanda, our Admin Manager. Our volunteer tutors Anne, Joan and Ginny generously share their skills and creativity, with Gail also volunteering to lead some of our sessions.
Together, our team creates a supportive environment where everyone can learn new skills, connect with others and feel part of our community.
Founder / Director
Michelle Douglas-Allison
Michelle Douglas-Allison, Founder and Director of Rose Cottage Community Hub CIC, brings over 10 years’ experience in adult education, delivering accredited courses, creative workshops and employability programmes. With additional expertise in NLP and hypnotherapy, Michelle is passionate about helping people build confidence, develop new skills and improve their wellbeing. She founded Rose Cottage to create a welcoming space where people can connect, feel supported and discover what they can achieve.

Ginny, Anne, and Joan are the heart and soul of our volunteer team at Rose Cottage Community Hub CIC. Having been dedicated attendees for several years, they've cultivated their expertise in sewing, art, and dressmaking. Now, as champion volunteers, they lead weekly classes with confidence and empowerment. Their nurturing approach fosters a warm and helpful environment, where attendees feel supported every step of the way. Known for their individual attention and guidance, they've earned high praise for their commitment to facilitating learning and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.
